Transfer Ambassadors

Transfer Ambassadors are student leaders who also transferred from another college or university, so they can easily relate to the needs of fellow transfer students. Our Transfer Ambassadors provide mentoring face-to-face or online.

Career Center

Our Career Center offers resources that will help get you hired. From Career Fairs stocked with employers looking for the best UNT has to offer, to networking events where you can share your accomplishments and aspirations with some of the region’s most valued employers, we’ll help you start your career on the right foot.

Student Money Management Center

UNT’s award-winning Student Money Management Center provides personal financial and money management education. In addition to seminars and presentations, you can receive confidential individual financial consultations and planning services – all at no cost. At the Student Money Management Center, you’ll be able to do the following:

  • Schedule personal and confidential coaching sessions with trained professionals or peer mentors
  • Learn how to plan, track and review income, savings and expenses
  • Learn how to establish and manage credit
  • Plan for tuition and fee payments
  • Analyze job offers and benefits packages

Learning Center

If you want to do everything you can to succeed in your studies or if you feel challenged with making it at UNT, the Learning Center is here for you. We can connect you with free tutors, and we offer workshops on study skills topics like note and test-taking strategies.

The Office of Disability Access (ODA) at the University of North Texas exists to prevent discrimination on the basis of disability and to help students reach a higher level of independence. Our caring and professional staff helps students learn more about their disabilities, develop techniques to facilitate individual learning styles, learn how to talk to faculty and staff about your needs and develop strategies to achieve goals.
